Jose D. "JD" Rosa is responsible for Proveri’s vision and overall success.  A leading management consulting and administrative service provider to Small Midsize Business and Entrepreneurial Startups with a need for “on demand” strategic and tactical financial support.  JD envisions an ecosystem whereby centralized hubs of excellence are leveraged, at a fraction of the cost, to support the scaling needs of our clients.  A truly strategic business partner and trusted advisor to our client’s executive team.

JD believes that trust is earned and not given.  An honor and achievement not to be taken lightly – considering the effort required to attain from another individual and/or group.  Understanding and aligning on a common desire with the team, continuous and open collaboration, show of loyalty, and consistently doing what one says they will do are critical attributes to being acknowledged as a “trusted advisor” and strategic business partner.  It is no longer enough to process events, report and ensure that the control environment complies with regulatory requirements.  It is not enough to analyze the results of a business and support the decision making process by reporting on through key performance indicators.  The financial leaders of the future need to have a seat at the table, understand and empathize with their business partners in order to effectively understand the opportunities and manage financial risks.  The age of the Financial Business Partner is here and the evolution of “Finance as a Service” is just beginning.

Prior to Proveri LLC, JD held financial executive positions within publicly traded Fortune 500 companies such as Lucent Technologies, Sun Microsystems and Fiserv to included private equity backed enterprises such as BrightStar and Finastra along with Small Midsized and start-up ventures such as ZCorum, Aplicor, Inc. and Enterprise Resource Technology Group.  He has evolved his financial and business acumen through the functional leadership roles attained throughout his career.  The gamete of positions have included and not limited to the following titles: CFO, VP of Finance, Corporate Controller, Regional Services Controller, Director of Finance, Financial Services Manager, Finance / Accounting Manager, Credit Manager and Audit Manager.  Overall, he brings close to three decades of diverse domestic and international financial management experience with exposure to Telecom, Wireless, Infrastructure, Internet, Hardware, Software, and Fintech services industries.

JD earned the academic achievement of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA '04) from Babson College in Massachusetts.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
